Gone for 15 years, Raul Paz never performed publicly in Cuba .. Forbidden to occur on stage, Raul had a deep desire to return home, play his music and share with the Cubans what it offers to the European public: his energy, the colors of his music, and also the message a "third way", advocated by a new generation of artists. An alternative to communicate openly and without political bias. That is the subject of a documentary being prepared.
The official permission has finally been issued in June last for three concerts.
The first in Havana, in a room mythical, Acapulco, where Raul, a student, was listening to the Cuban groups that have marked. Ambiance very hot for a concert with rock tones.
Then two others in Pinar Del Rio, his hometown, climate acoustic moments of intense emotions, to a family audience. Three concerts that have profoundly marked Raul Paz and his team.
The organization of these events has obviously set aside a host of mishaps and surprises, told in a bonus making of the DVD.
For each CD, DVD for other… Bonus for everyone!
There is a CD of these Cuban evenings, the first live awaited a musician who defines itself primarily by the scene. Raul Paz says often, it is a musician for these moments shared with the audience with members of the group. A CD without pictures, of course, but with a bonus that does not appear on the DVD, "Nada" in a superb version.
Of the other titles, though unique atmospheres of the two rooms are very faithfully rendered.
In addition to the conventional DVD, the Collector, deluxe edition, offers many special features, including a photo reportage directed by Youri Lenquette, which recounts the adventure of the three concerts, private moments with the group, as a family. Four video clips are also presented on the DVD Collector: "Mama" shot by Raul Paz in Havana which offers a vision of daily life in Cuba, particularly appreciated during his visit on Cuban television. This sample has greatly contributed to the popularity of Cuba to Raul. He recently won two Premios Lucas, the equivalent of victories to music in Cuba, it was nominated in five categories, including best singer, something that was ever happened to an artist who left the territory. "Tu y yo" disk "casa", sample also produced by Raul, is also included on this DVD, as "Mulata" and "Mua Mua Mua", filmed earlier, and slid bonus in this package luxury generous!
